  This consultation will run until 11 June 2015 with a report to be issued on the findings in mid-July.

  Proposal for a Bill to require a court (at the time of sentencing) to have regard to the impact of parental custody upon the welfare and wellbeing of the offender’s children; and to ensure that children affected by parental imprisonment receive additional support as appropriate.
